The Hoya NDx2 52mm Neutral Density Lens Filter is geared toward the photo enthusiast shooting bright or moving objects. The NDx2 adjusts your camera's f-stop by one and is compatible with any standard 52-millimeter screw-mount lens. Neutral density filters enable slower shutter speeds for recording movement such as in waterfalls and reduce the amount of light reaching the film without affecting the color balance. This meanst that pictures of bright objects like snow come out clear and without overexposure. Neutral Density filters evenly reduce the amount of light passing thru the lens without effecting color. Ideal for reducing bright light in large aperture situations when a narrow depth is field is needed. Allows for slower shutter speeds when blurring or showing of movement is desired. Allows balancing of exposure to highlight a key subject. Lets you use higher speed films in bright light.
